I live with my wife in Seattle, Washington and now write after a long career as a research scientist and as a US Naval Officer with a background in military history and theory.

My main interest in writing is historical fiction.  I can fill up the “white space” around historical events. It is not a blank canvas like most fiction. With historical fiction, you have to respect the historical events and weave your characters in and around those events to create a compelling story with history as the backdrop.
